Port Arthur LNG is sponsoring a flounder tournament Saturday in Sabine Pass.

Cost of entry is $35 per person and includes a chance at a door prize. Free T-shirts are offered to the first 30 who register.

Fishing starts at daylight and weigh-in is at 2 p.m. at the Sabine Pass Port Authority. A half-pound will be added to flounder’s weight if it is also released alive at weigh-in.

The first-place winner will receive $900. Second place will receive $585 and third will receive $315 (listed prizes are based on 100 participants; total prize is 60% of those registered).

Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m. at the Sabine Pass Authority. Winners must be present.

Fundraising from the event will benefit the Dick Dowling Lions Club.
