Two 19-year-olds injured in Villa Main shooting

Port Arthur Police are investigating a shooting at the Villa Main Apartments, 901 Main Ave., in which two 19-year-old males were wounded.

Authorities were dispatched to the scene at 6:51 p.m. Monday.

Sgt. Shannon Meaux said in a news release that one of the victims was discovered with gunshot wounds to his upper and lower extremities.

He was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

Another 19-year-old male who was involved in the shooting had “at least one possible gunshot wound to his arm,” Meaux said, and was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with non-life threatening injuries.

Both victims, who were not named, are residents of Port Arthur.
