James “Jim” Snell, 84, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on November 2nd, having fulfilled God’s purpose for his life on this earth, and leaving behind his family and a host of friends whose lives were enriched because he lived among us.

Born February 28th, 1935 in Beaumont, Texas, Jim was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and a member of Park Central Church of Christ.

He belonged to both the Harmony Exporters and the Houston Tidelanders Barbershop choruses for over 50 years combined, which gave he and Patsy opportunity to make great friends, while performing all across the great USA that he loved.
