Curtis Paul Benoit, 58, of Port Arthur passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

He was born on January 26, 1961 to his parents, Kenneth Benoit and Ethel Dugas Benoit in Port Arthur, Texas.

Curtis was a lifelong resident of the area.

He served in the United States Navy. Curtis worked at several air conditioning companies in the area, spent the last six years with Lamar State College-Port Arthur Campus as an AC
Technician.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Benoit and his step-father, Bryan Granger.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Ethel Granger of Port Arthur, his son, Curtis Paul Benoit, Jr. of Nederland, his sister, Deborah Aud and her husband, Mark of Brookeland, Texas.

The family is honoring his wish of cremation with no services, arrangements are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves.
