Nederland police responded to the following calls from Oct. 14 to Oct. 20:

Oct. 14

Assault offensive touch-family violence was reported in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.
A person was found to be in possession of marijuana in the 3500 block of Avenue A.
Assault family violence — impede breathing/circulation was reported in the 2400 block of Boston.
A missing persons report was made in the 2300 block of North U.S. 69.
A person was arrested for evading arrest or detention in the 100 block of Boston.
A person was taken into custody on a mental commitment in the 1200 block of South 16th Street.
A person was arrested on Nederland warrants in the 900 block of North U.S. 69.
A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 900 block of North U.S. 69.

Oct. 15

Theft was reported in the 100 block of North 18th Street.
An information report was made in the 900 block of South 36th Street.
A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 2100 block of FM 365.
A death was reported in the 2900 block of Avenue J.
A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 3100 block of Nederland Avenue.
A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 2000 block of North U.S. 69.
A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 2100 block of FM 365.
A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 10000 block of Memorial Blvd.

Oct. 16

Deadly conduct was reported in the 2100 block of U.S. 69.
Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Avenue B.
Harassment was reported in the 700 block of South 5½ Street.
Theft was reported in the 2000 block of FM 365.
A person was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and another agency’s warrant in the 8800 block of Ninth Avenue.
A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 8800 block of Ninth Avenue.
A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

Oct. 17

Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Avenue B.
A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 1600 block of Nederland Avenue.
A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 3300 block of FM 365.
A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1600 block of FM 365.

Oct. 18

Theft was reported in the 4900 block of Bourque.
Assault offensive touch-family violence was reported in the 4600 block of Hodgson Road.
A death was reported in the 300 block of North 21st Street.
A dog bite was reported in the 8100 block of Ford.
A death was reported in the 400 block of North 35th Street.
Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 1000 block of Avenue B.
A person was arrested for Nederland warrants and resisting arrest in the 3600 block of Nederland Avenue. The person was also found to be in possession of marijuana and a controlled substance.
A person was arrested for assault causes bodily injury — family violence in the 1100 block of Gary.

Theft was reported in the 2000 block of FM 365.
Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 300 block of South 2½ Street.
