Lois J. Rivers Hayes was born in Port Arthur, TX on September 30, 1940.

She was a proud Lincoln Bumblebee from the Class of 1958.

After leaving Port Arthur, she created a life in Houston, TX as an educator and faithful friend to many.

She left this life on her own terms on October 21, 2019. She is survived by two brothers, Cary and Tinard Rivers.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11 am at Riverside United Methodist Church, 4920 Cullen Blvd., Houston, TX 77004.
