The Hebert Public Library celebrated fire safety last week and wants to thank the Port Neches Fire Department for speaking to the children during their Mother Goose Storytime hour.

Firefighters encouraged children and their parents to find a safe place to meet once they escaped from a burning house.

They also spoke about the dangers of hiding during a fire and taught “Stop, Drop & Roll!”
