Glimpses of orange, yellow and green mix in with the bright purple and white that flashes by in waves of color as the Port Neches-Groves High School Homecoming Parade floats down Merriman St. in Port Neches.

The parade, which officially kicks off the start of homecoming festivities for the school district boasted boats, classic cars and jacked up trucks with beauty queens resting on top, boy scouts throwing candy and school groups hooting and hollering to their families and friends lined up across the street.
