Rose Place is the only public assisted senior living community in Mid-County, and after Hurricane Harvey dumped eight inches of water on the facility, workers and volunteers spent six hard months restoring it to its rightful place in the community. Wednesday, the company was finally able to cut the ribbons on their new facility.

Residents of the Port Arthur community, company leaders for Enlivant, nurses and members of the Nederland Chamber of Commerce all came out to celebrate the ribbon cutting Wednesday for the official presentation of the newly remodeled Rose Place senior retirement community.

Rose Place, the only public assisted senior living community in Mid-County officially cut the ribbon Wednesday on their newly renovated facility. The 50-count apartment building is nestled at 8214 Anchor Drive in Port Arthur and offers studio, one bedrooms, full meal service, activities and more.
