A closing round of five-under-par 66 gave Braden Bailey an outright third-place finish Saturday in the All Pro Tour’s Victoria Open.

The 66 matched Bailey’s lowest score in 12 rounds of competition on the All-Pro Tour and left him at 13-under-par 271 for his four trips around Victoria Country Club.

Third-round leader Kyle Pritchard, who entered Saturday with a seven-stroke lead, shot 69 for a 267 to win by three shots over fast finishing Cory Churchman of Abilene. Churchman, the second leading money winner on the APT, fired a 62 on Saturday to finish at 270.

Bailey had four birdies and an eagle against a lone bogey. The eagle came when he holed his second shot on the 445-yard, par 4, 16th. That got the Port Neches-Groves ex to five under, then he finished with back-to-back pars.

The outright third gave Bailey three top fours in his three starts on the APT. He’d finished T3 in Natchez, Mississippi and placed fourth in Lufkin. The Victoria tourney was his final tuneup for stage one of the Korn Ferry Tour Q school Sept. 24-27 at The Woodlands.

Michael Arnaud, the other area player in the Victoria field, shot a 68 Saturday and finished eighth at 275.
