Mrs. Kallie Scott, 79, of Port Arthur, TX passed away September 6, 2019 surrounded by family at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Kallie was born on November 4, 1939 in Kinder, LA to parents Joseph Jones and Alzina Lewis Jones, both deceased.

She was the ninth child of eleven to this blessed union.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Raymond Scott, Sr. Kallie leaves to cherish her memories twelve children, Raymond Scott, Jr. (Debora), Steven Scott, James Scott (Dorothy), Sharon Gail Ned (Roosevelt, deceased), Darrell Scott (Annette), Curtis Scott, Richard Scott (Angela), Jessie Scott, Rhonda Drew, Gwendolyn Johnson (Nathaniel), Roderick Scott, Lyndon Scott; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; loving siblings, Mary Bell Maze, Mary Johnson, Clinton Jones, Loney Jones and Henry Jones; sister-in-law, Ruby Garner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wake services will be 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2019 at Gabriel Funeral Home, 2500 Procter Street, Port Arthur, TX.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Rock Island Baptist Church, 549 W. 11th Street, Port Arthur, TX with Elder Kevin T. Domingo officiating.

Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
