Roland Reginald Henley passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

He was surrounded by his wife of 44 years, Stella Roberson Henley; his daughter, Rhonda Yvonne Hawkins (Wilbert); grandson, Ronson Hawkins, and several family friends.

Roland was born to J. Lee and Gladys Bernice Henley in January 1946.

He had one brother, Leland Dale Henley, who preceded him in death.

Additional relatives left to mourn Roland are nephew, Christopher Henley (Carolyn) and children, and cousins Jeanette Pradier Fregia and Anniece Hicks.

Many friends will also be sadden by his death.

Funeral services for Roland will be held at St. John Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.

Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
