Keith Marshall of Port Acres scored his first ever hole-in-one last Saturday at Babe Zaharias. Marshall authored the ace using a 9-iron from 112 yards on the seventh hole. Witnesses were Kenny Robbins, Cap Hollier and Brett Yellot. …

In the Monday Senior 50 Plus 2-ball at Zaharias, there was a tie at minus-1 on the front between the foursome of James Shipley, Charlie Leard, James Trahan and Don Duplan and the team of Hollier, Bim Morrow, Larry Johnson and ghost player Jerry Winston.

On the back, the team of Keith Mullins, Rick Pritchett, John Jessen and Paul Duplantis won with minus-3. …

With the help of Marshall’s hole in one, the team of Robbins, Hollier and Yellot won the front in the Super Saturday 2-ball at minus-4. The back went to the team of James Shipley, Leard and Jessen. …

The Friday 2-ball at Zaharias, played in a par-4 format because of wet conditions, was won at minus-11 by the team of Kenny Robbins, Ted Freeman, Danny Robbins and Larry Foster. Teams captained by Richard, Mike Brown and West tied for the back with minus-12.

Wednesday’s Zaharias DogFight was won with 16 points by the team of Brown, Ron Mistrot, Troy Touchet and Richard Menchaca. Second at 14 points was the foursome of Ed Holley, Brian Guidry, Trahan and Wes Sonnier.

Closest to the pin winners were Pritchett (No. 2), Calvin Landry (No. 7), Kenny Robbins (No. 12) and Eddie Delk (No. 15).
