Formerly a teacher with a bachelor’s degree in English, Snipes began her photography business as a way to spend more time with her children making memories, and as a way to help others make memories of their own through photography.

Another of Snipes’ new businesses, The Cotton Candy Bar, also provided a light, and sometimes alcoholic, treat for well-wishers.

Snipes hopes the all-organic, gourmet cotton candy will be a staple of modern events.
