Deborah Sonnier Craigen, 67, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Village Creek Nursing Home in Lumberton, Texas.

Deborah was born July 15, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to Elmer and Mary Lou Sonnier.

She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School of Port Arthur, TX.

She retired from Lamar University of Beaumont, TX.

Survivors include her son, Brian Craigen of Lakewood, CO; brother, Chad Sonnier and wife Alex of Village Mills, TX, their children and grandchildren; sister, Myra Bates and Steve Sides of Lakewood, CO; brother, Troy Sonnier of Port Arthur, TX.

Deborah prearranged to have her remains donated to medical science research. Honoring  her wishes there will be no services.
