The Effie and Wilton Hebert Public Library in Port Neches holds a weekly adult coloring group from 3-5 p.m. every Tuesday. Adults, beginners and young adults are welcome to the group. They just need to bring a coloring book and color pencils, crayons or markers.

Port Arthur native Barbara Melancon uses gel pens to color in her book. Melancon began taking the class after her home was destroyed during Hurricane Harvey and she needed something to do to keep her mind occupied; she’s been attending regularly since. (Cassandra Jenkins/The News)
