Jefferson County indictments for Aug. 14

BEAUMONT — A Jefferson County grand jury indicted the following people Wednesday:

  • Tomas Jesus Moraida Jr., 50, of Beaumont, was indicted for three counts of felony theft for incidents on May 24, May 27 and June 16, and one count of felony criminal mischief for an incident on June 29, with prior convictions.
  • Jermaine Morris, 38, of Beaumont, was indicted for two counts of unlawful restraint, with prior convictions.
  • Willie Andrew Yoder, 61, of Beaumont, was indicted for intoxication manslaughter for an incident on May 27.
  • Michael Thibeaux, 49, of Beaumont, was indicted for burglary for an incident on June 20.
  • Blake Jules Thomassee, 25, of Beaumont, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident on Feb. 17.
  • Deontae Vohn Whitley, 28, of Port Arthur, was indicted for assault on a peace officer, retaliation and burglary of a habitation for an incident on June. 17, with prior convictions
  • Cynthia Payton, 36, of Silsbee, was indicted for aggravated assault for an incident May 13.
  • Donald Mitchell Pickney, 46, of Port Arthur, was indicted for continuous family assault for an incident on Jan. 23.
  • Syd Houston Otey, 58, of Nederland, was indicted for tampering with physical evidence for an incident on June 7, with prior convictions.
  • Ryan William Wood, 44, of Beaumont, was indicted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, with prior convictions.
  • Monica Dee Powell, 53, of Port Arthur, was indicted for aggravated assault for an incident on July 4.
  • Dalveus Williams, 25, of Beaumont, was indicted for an attempt to take a weapon from an officer in an incident on Jan. 28.
  • Kevin Dwayne Pugh, 39, of Beaumont, was indicted for bringing a prohibited substance into a correctional facility for an incident on March 8.
  • Jordan Laron Tukes, 30, of Jasper, was indicted for unauthorized use of a vehicle for an incident on July 16.
  • Ronnkia Sutton, 34, of Beaumont, was indicted for evading arrest/detention using a vehicle for an incident on May 18.
  • Johnny Ray Williams, 66, of Beaumont, was indicted for assault on a family member for an incident on May 27.
  • Horace Hiawatha Walker, 25, of Orange, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident on Feb. 11
  • Brian Patrick Buchanan, 39, of Port Arthur, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident on Feb. 24.
  • Madison Briane Martinez, 25, of Nederland, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, heroin, for an incident on Aug. 30, 2018.
  • Landon Mitchell McDonald, 24, of Port Arthur, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, heroin, for an incident on Aug. 30, 2018.
  • Lance Wilson, 33, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was indicted for evading arrest/detention using a vehicle for an incident on Sept. 26, 2018.
  • Tyler L. Thibodeaux, 33, of Nederland, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident on Jan. 24.
  • Hoang Mins Tran, 58, transient, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident on Feb. 23.
  • Katasha Lynn Tyler, 33, of Port Arthur, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident on Nov. 9, 2018.
  • Eric Jason Washington, 35, of Port Arthur, was indicted for tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident on Dec. 17, 2018.
  • Tina Wilson, 37, of Beaumont, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident on Feb. 5.
  • Keith Allen Murray, 39, of Port Neches, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, heroin, for an incident on Jan. 20.
  • Jonathan Allworth Pelissier, 24, of Groves, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident on Dec. 13, 2018.
