Parker, who retired from the school board in December after serving the Place 2 spot for 91/2 years, was appointed to the Place 4 seat when then trustee Mark Holmes quit in April.

She filed for the Place 4 seat on July 22, the first day of filing.

The terms for trustees are for three years and there is no fee to file.
