Verline Wiltz Latiolais, 89, of Port Arthur passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019.

Verline was born September 24, 1929 in Butte LaRose, La., to Alexander and Theresa Wiltz.

She was a member of Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, Altar Society and the Knights of Columbus KCetts council 3195.

Verline was passionate about taking care of her family.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband and visiting the casinos. Verline loved to play BINGO and laugh.

Verline was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Wiltz and Theresa Daigle; sisters, Irene Guidry and Lovel Benoit.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Alton Latiolais; son, Darrel Latiolais and his wife Katy; daughters, Carolyn Latiolais and Lisa Sajjad and her husband Mohammad.

Verline also leaves behind grandchildren, David Mason, Brian Latiolais and Melissa Caballero and 6 great grandchildren to cherish her memories.

A special thank you to the staff at Forever Young for the care they provided to our mother.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2019, at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church.

Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
