The Port Arthur Economic Development Corp. has scheduled informational forums to inform Port Arthur people about the role the PAEDC plays in this city.

Topics will include commercial driver training for Port Arthur residents, Small Business Micro Loans, the Grow Port Arthur Fund, business economic iIncentives, job training incentives and business infrastructure incentives.

CEO Floyd Batiste and Deputy Director Georg Davis will inform citizens and answer questions.

Forums will be conducted in each city district along with a Hispanic Community Session and a Vietnamese Community Session.

Sessions will be conducted at 6 p.m. on the following dates:

District 1, Thursday, Westside Development Center, 601-A Rev. Dr. Ransom Howard Drive.

District 2, Aug. 22, Strong Tower Ministries, 2500 25^th St.

District 3, Aug. 29, Port Arthur Public Library Gallery Room, 4615 Ninth Ave.

Session in Spanish and English, Sept. 26, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cody Hall, 4600 Procter St.

District 4, Oct. 2, Lakeside Palomar Community Center, 5700 Cambridge.

Session in English and Vietnamese, Oct. 24, Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church, Church Hall, 801 Ninth Ave.
