The angels in Heaven sang as Hayward Laurent departed this life according to God’s appointed time on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Bonne Vie Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Hayward Laurent was born on February 2, 1963 in Galveston, Texas to late Lincoln and Olivia Laurent.

Hayward resided in Port Arthur, Texas 56 years.

Hayward Laurent was also known as Hollywood and loved by many.

He was a graduate from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1981.

He worked at Malin Cement Lining from 1981-2013.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters, Lois Johnson, Nederland, TX; Mary (Joyce) Laurent, Port Arthur, TX; Vera Locksey, Lafayette, LA; one brother Lionel Laurent of Port Arthur, TX; a special friend Barbara Reynolds; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

Service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Call to Destiny International, 3770 Park Plaza Circle, Port Arthur, TX 77642, Apostle Barbara Evans officiating.
