Ronald Glenn Hudson, 72, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 in Port Arthur, Texas.

Ronald was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on September 20, 1946 to the late, Paul R. Hudson and Juanita Carlisle Hudson.

Ronald served his country in the United States Army Reserves and was retired from Motiva Enterprises with 36 years of service.

Those left to cherish Ronald’s memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Hudson of Nederland; daughter, Shelley Friesz and her husband, Gordan of Nederland; son, Randy Hudson of Nederland; brother, David “J.D.” Hudson and his wife, Pam of Groves; grandchildren, Zachary Friesz, Reagan Friesz and Brett Hudson; and a host of loving nieces
and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 with the funeral service to begin and 1:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Ronald’s memory to the Mid-County Senior Babe Ruth, 7635 Ontario Drive, Nederland, Texas 77627.
