Johnnie Blake Jones, “JB,” 65 was born on January 10, 1954, to the late James Sr. and Olivia Jones in Virginia. He departed his life Saturday June 29, 2019.

“Jonathan” was a longtime resident of Port Arthur, TX and a native of Fruitland, Maryland.

Jonathan was a devoted husband, father, and “Pop Pop.” He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Jonathan was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy after high school, and a college graduate with multiple degrees in electronics. He also worked as a Signal Superintendent for many years.

Johnny was blessed to have enjoyed 7 grandchildren Jasani, Demount, Blake, Johanna, Jayden, Khyrie, and Khori; Along with, godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“Johnny” was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Olivia Jones; his brothers James Jr. and Jessie Jones.

Jonathan leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife Rhonda Coles Jones; his children; Olivia Jones, Joshua Coles (Myshikeya), Jacinna Wade (Demount); his siblings Dennis Jones and Ricky Jones (Rosetta).

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 2:00p.m. at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 4701 Rice Farm Rd. Port Arthur, TX.

Visitation is from noon until service time, Pastor Maxine Williams, officiating. Entombment, Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Service entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
