Ellen Elizabeth Booz Gaspard, 101, formerly of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in Tennessee.

Ellen was born April 20, 1918 in Petersburg, Virginia to Melvin Truman Aldridge and Elsie Estella George Aldridge. She was a homemaker and member of St. James Catholic Church where she participated in the Ladies of St. James.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Booz; and second husband, Leon Gaspard; four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy Eagleson of Waverly, TN, and Lou Placette of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur.
