Kevin Allen Christopher passed away Sunday June 23, 2019.

He was born in Chicago, IL on July 19, 1959 and attended Lindblom Tech High School in Chicago.

In 1979 Kevin moved to Port Arthur, TX where he studied Political Science and Mechanical Drawing at Lamar University. He was employed for the City of Port Arthur as Fleet Service Manager.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 22 years Connie Christopher, Port Arthur, TX; his father Leon Christopher of Jacksonville, TX; three brothers Larry (Lois) Christopher of Houston, TX, Ray (Diane) Christopher of Overland Park, KS, Danny (Linda) Montgomery of Galveston, TX; daughters, Lidora (Joe) Weisinger Chicago, IL, Melissa (Francisco) Castaneda of Beaumont, TX; sons Kevin (Daisy) Christopher of Atlanta, GA, Ronnie (Alisa) Collins of Port Arthur, TX, Larry Christopher of Chicago, IL, Julian (Sithon) Christopher of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lillie Christopher.

A wake will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday July 1, 2019 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
