Armstrong made the Class 3A second team as an outfielder. He was strong at the plate and in the field in helping Orangefield reach the Class 3A Region III quarterfinals.

Havard was a master on the mound once again for the Cardinals, helping lead the squad into the area round of the Class 4A Region III playoffs. Havard was a second team All-State 4A selection.

Armstrong was an All-Orange Leader first team selection while Havard was named Most Valuable Player of the All-Leader team.

The only other Southeast Texas players that made All-State were Kirbyville pitcher James Burchett and his teammate first baseman Justin Herriage, who both made first team in Class 3A, and West Brook outfielder Cole McConnell, a third-team 6A selection.
