TRACK AND FIELD: Home of ‘PA speed’ complete

Published 1:41 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2019

The track surface around the Memorial High School practice field has been completed and painted. Memorial plans to hold on-campus track meets beginning in the spring of 2020, which it has not done since the present campus opened for the 2009-10 school year. The new track and the recently installed practice turf within the oval are the results of a successful November 2014 bond measure, with the project coming at a cost of an estimated $1 million.
