BEAUMONT — A Beaumont man is charged with intoxication manslaughter after a fatal crash Tuesday.

Willie Yoder III is charged in the death of Roy Martin Jr., 36, of Beaumont, according to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS responded to a report of an auto-pedestrian crash on River Bend Road in Jefferson County near Texas 105. Initial reports showed a Honda motorcycle dirt bike was traveling south on River Bend Road and a Chevrolet passenger vehicle was traveling north on River Bend Road. The car collided head-on with the motorcycle and after the collision; the driver fell off the dirt bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured.
