From the Texas Department of Public Safety:

At approximately 2 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Jefferson County. The crash occurred near FM 365 and involved a commercial motor vehicle.

Initial reports indicate that an 18-wheeler was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 when the vehicle experienced a tire blowout. The vehicle came to rest in the median.

There are no reports of any injuries.

The inside traffic lane of Interstate 10 is closed due to a diesel spill. The inside lane will remain closed until HazMat crews can safely clean the spill from the roadway. Expect delays.
