Mr. Charles Ray Turner, 69, of Houston, Texas passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his home in Houston, Texas.  A native of Orange, TX he was moved to Port Arthur at a very young age.  He lived in Port Arthur until graduating from Lincoln High School in 1969.  He was employed by United Airlines for more than 30 years until his retirement in 2018.

Charles is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Lois Turner of Houston, TX; one brother, David Turner of Beaumont, TX; three sons, Chris Henton, Charles Turner Jr. and Shannon Turner, all of Houston, TX and one daughter, Lakeshia Turner of Houston, TX and a host of nephews, nieces and grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 24 from 10 am until 12 noon at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel in Port Arthur, Texas.  Funeral services will follow at 12 noon and will be officiated by  Bishop Elehue Livingston.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
