Jessica Lemoine finally revealed where she will continue her coaching career.

So did West Brook.

Lemoine, who announced Wednesday she was leaving Port Neches-Groves as its head softball coach, is taking the same position at the 6A high school in Beaumont. She retweeted a post from West Brook campus athletic coordinator Eric Peevey that announced her new role.

“I am excited for the next chapter in my coaching journey and happy that I found a new home at West Brook,” Lemoine said. “I’m looking forward to moving up in division and to bringing the winning tradition back to the Bruins.”

West Brook narrowly missed the 6A playoffs this past season, while Lemoine led PNG to the 5A playoffs each of the last five years under Lemoine, who coached at the school six years.

Lemoine said Peevey brings positive energy to West Brook athletics and will offer “a ton” of support to the softball program. Peevey is also the Bruins’ head football coach and led that team to the 6A Division II title game.

“I will definitely miss my players at PNG but I’m ready to get started with my new crew!” Lemoine added.
