Bealita “Bea” Rife

Bealita “Bea” Rife, 68, of Port Arthur went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, April 30, 2019. Bea was born December 18, 1950 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Preston J. Barras Sr. and Henrietta Quintana. Bea retired from the medical field after 25 years of service as a registered nurse. She was a social butterfly who was full of life and was a giving and generous person. She was the mother of all mothers and never said no to anyone in need. Bea enjoyed dancing, fishing, camping, being on the beach and traveling with her husband Michael.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents; father to her children, George Edward Faulk and her brother Preston Barras Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Rife; son, Shaun Faulk and his wife Theresa; daughters Tanja Hoffpauir and Keturah Woolston and her husband Matt; stepson, Paul Michael Rife; stepdaughters, Karla Faulk, Mechelle Faulk and Yvette Faulk; brothers, Ronald Barras, Clint Barras, Lynn Barras and his wife Christy; sister, Yvonne Watson and her husband Ronald, and Barbara Brice. Bea also leaves behind grandchildren, Payton Faulk, Chelsea Hoffpauir, Joshua Hoffpauir, Taylor Hoffpauir, Mathew Hoffpauir, Elisa Rife, Alvin Rife and numerous other grandchildren; one great grandchild, Milo Sanchez and her beloved poodles, Reba and Ruby to cherish her memories.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2019, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
