Beaumont man dies after Easter morning shooting

BEAUMONT — A Beaumont man has died after an early Easter morning shooting.

The victim is identified as Darrell Howard, 43.

Beaumont police responded to 3130 Concord, E&L Touch of Class, at 2:02 a.m. April 21 in reference to shots fired and found the victim lying near the street unresponsive. He had a gunshot wound to the abdomen area. Officers administered first aid until emergency medical services arrived and transported him to St. Elizabeth Hospital, according to information from Beaumont Police Department.

Beaumont police are asking for the public’s help in identifying this man who they say is a suspect in a fatal Easter morning shooting.

He was in critical condition when he arrived and was scheduled for surgery. He later died from his injuries.
