BREAKING: Search continues for Port Arthur city manager; questions loom about Robinson
The Port Arthur City Council has decided to continue searching for other candidates for the position of city manager. District 4 Councilman Harold Doucet said that Interim City Manager Harvey Robinson will be leaving his position on Friday. Mayor Derrick Freeman, however, said that Robinson will stay on.
During the meeting, Assistant City Manager Ron Burton was seated at the position usually occupied by Robinson.
