Three juniors from Jefferson County were placed on the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ 5A All-Region III team.

Memorial frontcourt duo Nate Clover and Kenneth Lofton Jr. made the list, as did Nederland guard Hayden Hefner. Clover and Hefner were recently named defensive and offensive players of the year in District 21-5A.

Also from 21-5A, Barbers Hill guard Max Armer was named all-region.

Beaumont United placed junior guard Kason Harrison on the 6A All-Region III team. Other Southeast Texas all-region players include:

In 4A Region III — Silsbee guards Jordyn Adams, Devon McCain and Braelon Bush; Huffman power forward Darius Dugas, Hardin-Jefferson guard Bruce Green and H-J forward Jason Persohn;

In 3A Region III — Orangefield center Valentin Catt and East Chambers guards Ernest Ceasar and Kordell David; and

In 2A Region III — Evadale guard Jacob Splawn and Dallardsville Big Sandy guard Case Sutherland.
