The News staff reports

Having pushed the game-winning run across in the seventh inning Monday, Nederland apparently didn’t mind repeating the process in the clutch Tuesday in another District 21-5A softball game.

Lexi Eversole sent Chesney Wright home on a sacrifice grounder in the sixth inning to break a 2-all tie, and the Bulldogs won their second close call in as many days, beating Cleveland 3-2 on Tuesday.
