NBA: Jones signed to second 10-day contract

The Houston Rockets have signed forward Terrence Jones to a second 10-day contract.
Jones was playing for the Erie (Pennsylvania) BayHawks in the NBA G League, averaging 23.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.5 steals in 24 games, before he landed his first 10-day contract on Feb. 22. The 2012 NCAA champion with Kentucky had played with Houston from from 2012-16 and has since spent time with the New Orleans Pelicans, Milwaukee Bucks, a Chinese team, the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors and Erie.
Jones averaged 10.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 233 career NBA games.
