BASEBALL: Nederland’s Davila commits to Carl Albert

Nederland center fielder Brian Davila signed with Carl Albert State College in Poteau, Oklahoma, to play baseball on Monday. Davila is surrounded by father Mike, mother Angie and sister Analise. A second-year varsity player, Davila learned about Carl Albert from Nederland assistant coach Kyle Green and said he is looking forward to “just becoming a better person and living on my own being all the way in Oklahoma.” (I.C.
