BASEBALL: Indians blank Jasper on Monday night

An eight-run first inning set the tone for Port Neches-Groves on Monday night in an 11-0 baseball blanking of Jasper.
PNG (2-4) took advantage of three Jasper errors and got a hit each from seven players. Ryan Sosa batted in two runs.
Grant Rogers struck out five and held the Bulldogs to two hits and one walk in a five-inning victory.
