Amaree Abram is a freshman, but he hasn’t been playing like one lately.

Abram led three Memorial boys basketball players in double figures with 20 points, helping the Titans pull out a 50-39 home win over Port Neches-Groves on Tuesday.

Memorial (21-6, 8-1 in 21-5A), a co-leader in the district with Barbers Hill, earned the season sweep over PNG (17-11, 5-4). The Indians fell out of a third-place tie with Nederland, whom they defeated Friday.
