The Program of Health Excellence Inc., 2700 Gulfway Drive, Port Arthur is accepting applications from 10-3 daily through Thursday for the nurse aide class to begin at 5 p.m. Jan. 21.

Willie Mae Elmore, RN, MS is the instructor and executive director.

Students must have a clean criminal background check, high school diploma or GED and be physically able to lift and pull as required for clinical performance.

Space is limited. All documentation must be available at registration.

To receive the grant, you must have proof of low income, Aid to Families with Dependent Children, housing, food stamps or unemployment.
