The Texas Department of Public Safety is working at the scene of a vehicular crash on SH 124 near Smith Road.

In an issued statement, DPS said the wreck, which occurred at 6:45 a.m., involved a commercial motor vehicle.

Preliminary reports indicate a passenger vehicle rear-ended a commercial motor vehicle. Injuries have been reported.

Motorists have been urged to use caution while traveling in the area and to stay alert for emergency vehicles and slow moving traffic.
