Port Arthur police late Tuesday reported that a man was killed after a vehicle-bicycle collision in the 10000 block of U.S. 69. The collision occurred around 10:45 p.m.

Police said the cyclist was struck and thrown off the bicycle, sending him into the grass median. He was taken to the Medical Center of SETX, where died from his injuries.

The identity of the deceased was being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
