Hamshire-Fannett improved its win total from 2017 by three games, but found itself on a slide going into Friday’s 4A Division II playoff against unbeaten Jasper in Lumberton.

Despite Marcus Morris’ and Keshawn Morris’ 100-plus-yard games, the Bulldogs rolled to a 49-14 win, ending the Longhorns’ campaign on a four-game skid at 5-6.

Marcus Morris ran 26 times for 108 yards and a touchdown, and completed 6 of 19 for 90 yards and a TD to Keshawn Morris. The latter ran 20 times for 105 yards.
