Port Arthur police Thursday night were investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred on 2213 Robinhood Drive.

In an issued statement, police said a man and woman were sitting in a parked vehicle at 8:12 p.m. waiting for a friend to come out of the house when several men, armed with handguns, approached them. No description was offered of the suspects.

The suspects ordered the victims from the vehicle, took one victim’s money and left in the victims’ car.

Neither victim was injured and the car was recovered a short time later.

The Criminal Investigations Unit was investigating.
