FOOTBALL: Trip to NRG on line for Indians

Published 6:58 pm Thursday, November 15, 2018

If Port Neches-Groves wins Friday’s bi-district game at home against Houston Northside, the Indians will play at NRG Stadium for the second year in a row.

PNG coach Brandon Faircloth confirmed the possible location Thursday. The winner Friday would play either Lindale or Montgomery.

PNG beat Texas City 24-17 in the second half of a doubleheader with Nederland and Manvel at NRG Stadium last November. Both of those games were played in the area round.
