Mr. David Harold McKenzie, 70, of Port Arthur, TX answered the calling of the Lord on Friday, November 9, 2018.  He was born in Waskom, Texas to the Rev. David and MaeBerta McKenzie.  He is preceded in death by his parents, paternal and maternal grandparents.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, LaTesha McKenzie, daughters DeAnn Broom (Jermaine) and Shanda McKenzie Davis (Jerry); grandsons Joshua Broom, Toddrian Janice and Jerryn Davis and granddaughter Gabrielle Broom. 

Services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at First Sixth Street Baptist Church with visitation from 12:00 until service time at 2:00 pm.  Officiant will be Rev. Trenton J. Scott, Sr., nephew.  Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park.
