Police seek suspects in Pebble Creek shooting-robbery

A Port Arthur man was in stable condition Saturday after an early morning robbery and shooting at Pebble Creek Apartments.
Port Arthur police said they responded to a 1:26 a.m. call at 4201 Jimmy Johnson Blvd., where the victim, 28, was conscious.
Police said the victim told them he was first robbed of his personal property — then the suspect shot him in his leg or thigh. He was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont and was reported to be in stable condition following emergency surgery.
PAPD’s Crime Scene Unit and detectives were summoned to collect evidence and photograph the scene. The case remained under investigation.
