GIRLS BASKETBALL: Cardinals improve to 2-0

Two Bridge City players reached double figures in leading the Cardinals to a 43-14 win over host Evadale on Thursday in girls basketball.

Bridge City (2-0) shut out Evadale in the second and fourth quarters, leading 19-3 at halftime.

Madison Fischer and Kyndall Harrison each had 10 points, and Hannah Wiegreffe pulled down 10 rebounds.
