Julia Sion started her senior season strong.

The Memorial center scored 12 of her game-high 23 points in the second quarter Friday, leading the Titans to a 69-23 home victory over Kelly.

Memorial (1-0) was comfortably ahead 34-13 at halftime, thanks in large part to Sion’s big quarter. She was the only double-digit scorer for either team.
